Employment Search & Placement App
Joblio is a startup company specializing in recruitment and consulting services, providing opportunities for applicants from second and third-world countries to access jobs in Europe, Poland, and other countries.
The platform aims to offer access via mobile and web-based applications. The platform lets users view and apply for positions while allowing customers to post open positions. In addition, this platform provides a way for candidates to view and apply for positions through mobile apps and web-based applications while offering customers access to available job opportunities.

The Goal
With a focus on using a mobile app and web-based application, Joblio wanted to make it easier for individuals to access employment opportunities abroad and help bridge the gap between different cultures, providing valuable experiences for the applicants and the companies who hire them.
We aim to build a mobile platform that accommodates applicants and customers, creating a unique experience that benefits everyone involved by providing a space where people can easily find jobs and see available positions posted.

Discovery Process
The challenge was to build a platform to accommodate both the applicants and the customers. To create a platform that would service those two elements providing jobs opportunity and allowing people to see the available jobs posted.
My role was to help define the process, surfacing the needs of both user groups, to provide users easy access via mobile as they do on the web.

As a designer and business analyst, I worked to identify user needs and product requirements as a top priority. Collaborating with teams in Poland and Ukraine, I worked on rules and regulations in other countries, conducted competitor analysis, and built service blueprints and user flows to help guide the design. These artifacts were essential in enabling us to create a user journey from both the applicant's and vendor's viewpoints.

Solutions & Direction
Wire-framing + Prototyping
We started exploring design possibilities by building wireframes based on the user flows to solidify a solution. Working with the preset design system, we developed a finalized design that provides users with the ability to create an account and apply for jobs immediately through a profile setting while also allowing job posts to be translated into multiple languages and currencies, resulting in a more seamless user journey for both the applicant and posting administrator.

Main Takeaways
The most significant hurdle we had to address was our bias as Americans. Removing preconceived notions and ideas of how people think and interact from the equation to build a sustainable journey that would serve our customers and client across multiple countries. Working with our counterparts in these countries was vital to getting this right and making this product successful.
